EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Tapping or Meridian Tapping is a stress relief technique. By gently tapping on certain points on your body, you calm down the region in your brain that decides if you are in a stress mode - or not. Under stress/chronic tension, your body is cut off from its inherent self healing powers. Overweight, sleeping disorders, physical pain or emotional problems build up and cannot be released. The frustration resulting from this causes even more stress - a downwards spiral.
When you learn to influence the center for stress response in your brain - the Amygdala - by tapping softly on certain meridian points, your body can start its self healing process and recovery. The underlying emotional stress, causing certain physical pains, obesity or other tension related disorders, can also be treated with EFT.
EFT is a simple technique, easy to learn and use in daily life. It is very important that you wish to play an active role in the process. We tap together in our session - adjusted to your individual challenge - and the more you regularly tap in daily life, the better results you will experience. Sometimes one single session, followed by daily tapping, is enough to reach satisfying results. On the other hand there are issues that go deeper and that require more than one session.
EFT is fun! Your experience yourself as actively taking charge of things. EFT can be combined with any other medical treatment and even supports those. In the end, it is always you who heals yourself - which is much easier when relaxed.
